Extrusion stillages for a range of extruded products – such as plastic, aluminium or ceramic extrusions etc. – are one of the most common forms of stillage that we design, manufacture and finish at JS Burgess Engineering Ltd.

As well as providing stillages for extruded products, our designs are also often used by clients who draw their product (for instance, in the case of some metal bars or tubing). Our stillages are suitable for transporting and storing materials in both formats and we are happy to discuss your bespoke requirements.
As with all the stillages we produce, those designed for use with extruded materials are manufactured from high quality steel, and can be provided with a range of finishes – including galvanisation or powder coating for instance.
We have recently installed a brand new, state of the art finishing workshop within our UK-based factory which has allowed us to increase our production levels whilst still maintaining the high quality products and customer service that has been the hallmark of our offer for the last two decades.
All our stillages designed to transport or store plastic extrusion or extruded aluminium (or other metals) can be manufactured to allow them to stacked, or to include other bespoke elements such as wheels or dunnage.
We have more than two decades experience in designing and manufacturing stillages and other related products – including cages, bins, A-Frames and glass handling equipment – and our clients include some of the largest manufacturers in the UK. Our focus is on providing high quality products which stand the test of time, delivering on-time and supplying our clients with the quality advice and customer service. With many of our clients, we have become an extension of their company and have formed long term relationships, something we believe is important when working with our new customers as well.
