A-frames – Testing & Certification

JS BURGESS ENGINEERING

Although frames lifted by a fork-lift-truck or via ‘under slinging’ can be lifted without a LOLER certificate, A-Frames that are to be lifted via lifting hooks require a physical load test and LOLER certificate.

Our A-frame certification process is shared below:

Once the A-frame design has been proof load tested by our third-party LEEA certified testing partners, a LOLER certificate is then issued by JS Burgess for the design and all subsequent frames are thoroughly inspected and given a manufacturer’s certificate of conformance.
